Christine has been training at our High Park & Mississauga locations for 6 months. Belly Bootcamp is Christine’s first time ever doing something “athletic” and we’re so glad she chose BB. She never misses a class, busts her ass and does it all with three boys under 5 at home to feed, change, bathe, cuddle and keep alive. She could surely teach us a thing or two.
WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO BB? HOW LONG DID YOU TRAIN?
I heard about BB through my friend Oonagh, one of the BB trainers — as I was looking for a challenging workout with other moms. I started when the classes went outside- 6 months ago.
WHAT RESULTS HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED?
I feel so strong and energized. My endurance has really improved, and I can keep up with my 3 boys. It has also positively affected my mood as I feel so good about trying to be healthy.
HOW DO YOU STAY ACTIVE OUTSIDE OF BB?
Just keeping up with my boys. We play road hockey and go for walks together. Between the playing and cleaning, I feel like I never sit down.
WHAT IS YOUR #1 FITNESS GOAL NOW?
I want to do one proper push-up. I have never done one in my life! (We are pretty sure we can help you with that, Christine!)
FAVE HEALTHY FOOD?
Spinach and eggs — thanks to BB recipe ideas, I eat this all of the time!
FAVE BB EXERCISE?
That one where you put the arm band around your waste and run as fast as you can, while your BB buddy tries to pull you back. That is fun stuff.
EXERCISE YOU WANT TO PUNCH IN THE FACE?
Shuffling/running in a squat position.
LAST SPLURGE FOOD OR DRINK?
I am just about to eat a delicious piece of DQ ice cream cake — just waiting for it to soften to perfect eating temperature.
