Great job! Don’t forget to claim your points
Really enjoyed this one! Loved putting all those moves together.
Yay good for you! All those moves add up BIG TIME!
I was wondering how I can modify hinges so they don’t make my lower back hurt?
Hey Liz, great question. A few tips:
1. you may need to have a slight bend in your knees to create some more space in the hips.
2. Really emphasis sending your bum back more so than leaning your spine forward. You could practice this by standing about a foot from the wall and trying to tap your bum on the wall.
3. Focus on keeping your spine long and not rounding your spine. Only hinge as far forward as you can without rounding your back.
4. Check that your ribs aren’t flaring out in front when you hinge. This is something I have to watch all the time. Think of keeping your ribs heavy, or drawing ribs in gently to create a broader mid-back.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other specific questions.
Yes! Absolutely love a complex – bringing it all together!
