Ummmmm yeah. A c-section is major abdominal surgery and affects almost 30% of birthing people in both Canada and the U.S. 

Recovery information for people regardless of how they’ve just given birth is ESSENTIAL! It is NOT good enough to tell people to “take it easy”. 

Rehabilitative exercises, realistic do’s and dont’s, mental health screening and information about how to treat and promote healing of the scar, recommendations for professionals such as pelvic health physiotherapists should ALL be provided for birthing people.
